GENE KELLIS, the founding partner of the firm, is the chief of the workers' compensation department.  He has had a wide breadth of experience in workers' compensation cases, representing people injured in workplace accidents, or elsewhere in the course of employment, and also representing employers on behalf of several insurance carriers and as a consultant.  He has successfully litigated repetitive use injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, as well as occupational disease injuries, such as asthma and respiratory disease.  His accomplishments and experience include:

• Counsel for Union Locals
• Successfully litigates hundreds of cases each year
• Organizes, plans, and presents Continuing Legal Education seminars for other lawyers

SOFFER has represented a wide variety of individuals and businesses regarding Commercial Collections and Medical Collections across the five-county area.  The Medical Collections segment of the practice includes collection of debts owed by automobile insurance carriers, workers' compensation carriers, and health insurance carriers.

He has also advised individuals in repairing negative credit history in their credit reports and with identity theft.

 HOLLY K. SOFFER provides her extensive real estate background and experience to clients who require legal representation in real estate. She has represented individual residential home buyers and sellers, commercial buyers and sellers, mortgage companies and title companies. She reviews, drafts, and negotiates Agreements of Sale and residential and commercial leases.  She also attends and advises clients at real estate closings.

In the zoning practice, GENE KELLIS has represented individuals and businesses seeking zoning relief as well as governmental bodies, providing them with experience on both sides of the zoning practice.

HOWARD H. SOFFER and HOLLY K. SOFFER have represented residential home buyers in disputes with sellers and home builders who have failed to disclose hidden conditions which must be repaired or which diminish property value.

HOLLY K. SOFFER and HOWARD H. SOFFER have represented, assisted, and advised small and medium size businesses for 15 years.  They have counseled businesses across the entire five-county area regarding:
